Mother’s Day Gift Guide: Gifts Your Stylish Mom Will Love

I know this is a little out of my realm on this blog here, but in real life, this gift guide fits perfectly into what I search for for my own mom. I’ve been so lucky to grow up with a mom who has always been being extremely loving, an amazing chef, and incredibly selfless. But beyond that, something trivial but that I’ve always admired is that my mom has style.

I’m not even kidding, I think I wear my moms clothes more than I wear my own. And I’m not mad about it.

Mother's Day Gift Guide: Gifts Your Stylish Mom Will Love

But this sometimes poses as a problem: what the heck do you get a mom who seems to have everything? It’s so easy to give a gift card, but I find that gift cards lack the thought that I want to put into a Mother’s Day gift. So, when trying to figure out what the hell I’m going to get this woman, I came up with a gift guide for you, too, so you can get your stylin’ momma a cute, useful, thoughtful gift!

  1. 3-Wick Candle Sleeve
Bath & Body Works is huge with the ladies in my family. There’s just nothing better than a clean house with a relaxing B&BW candle lit, making the room smell like Summer. This palm candle sleeve is SO cute and perfect to make any candle blend in with your room decor.
  2. Alex & Ani Bumblebee Charm Bangle
I am a huge Alex & Ani fan. Not only are their bracelets cute and affordable, but they have meaning. I love this bumble bee bangle, but there are so many options to choose from. Get your mom a cute bracelet with a sweet meaning behind it!
  3. Fossil Q Activity Tracker
Whether your mom is active or trying to get in shape, this Fossil activity tracker is super sleek and useful. I’m loving this trend for activity trackers that look less like fitness watches and more like wear-everyday watches. This looks more like a bracelet, actually. Rose gold FTW.
  4. Quay Australia Muse Aviators
If you haven’t gotten into Quay sunglasses yet, girl what are you doing? These sunglasses are super cute and affordable for your Mother’s Day gift. Quay offers ridiculously stylish sunnies for a fraction of the cost of your usual designer prices. Who doesn’t love a good pair of aviators?
  5. Kate Spade Cedar Street Hayden Bag
If you can’t tell by the bridal shower we threw for my sister, or the event I hosted at Kate Spade last year, or every purse my mom, sister, and I own … we love Kate Spade. So of course it landed on my list. Get your siblings together to pitch in for the best Mother’s Day gift she’ll get this year – she deserves it!
  6. Bare Minerals Mini Marvels Brush Collection
Have you ever tried to stuff your makeup brushes into an overflowing bag, only to fail at closing the zipper and having makeup spill everywhere in the bag? Sometimes bulky makeup brushes can get in the way. This little brush set is perfect for mom this year. The best part is that they are great for travel!
  7. ‘I Love You Mom and Here’s Why’ Book
It’s time to get sentimental… Guarantee happy tears with this super cute Paper Source book where you can fill out different reasons you love your mom with the various prompts provided in the book. This is a great little gift supplement, or fill out the whole book and really go for the waterworks.
  8. Williams-Sonoma Copper Coffee Mug
What do moms need? Coffee. They need coffee. And how GORGEOUS is this mug from Williams-Sonoma? Your mom deserves to be the fancy queen in the house with a ~*copper*~ mug. She just does.

My Mom is such fashionista and she is wayyyyyyy more stylish than could ever be! It’s awesome that you just put this up because I was wondering what to get her for Mother’s day and I don’t want to get her more clothes haha. That copper mug would be perfect for her, thanks for sharing!

I generally buy my mom a box of dark chocolates I personally select at our hometown chocolatier/ice cream shop. That or a running top. Her favorites! Neither of us is that into makeup or hair, and I’m not really into bags and shoes, and even though she is I cannot for the life of me pick something for her :)

Funny you say that, usually my go-to with my mom is something running related. But she just has so much I’m like ok what else can I get her now!? My mom is a better stylist than me haha I’m not the best at styling myself for that matter

My mom often wants a really expensive camera lens (like mother, like daughter) or something, so a bunch of my family members usually go in to buy her that “big” thing. We’re not great with surprises a lot of the time 😛 I also always write a lengthy, sappy note, and usually spend a day just shopping/hanging out with her. It’s not abnormal for us to do that on *not* Mother’s Day, but it’s still a little treat for us both. This year, I was at Paper Source and saw this little time capsule letters book, so I picked that up, too! It prompts you to write about memories with your mom and then has “Open when…” on the envelopes. I have no idea when I’m going to make the time to write the letters, but I’m really excited about it. The “I Love You” book reminds me of it!
