Fall Spiced Granola

This Fall Spiced Granola is the perfect way to start your day in the Fall season. Oh, and it’ll make your kitchen smell AMAZING.

Fall Spiced Granola

You know when you’ve been buying something your whole life that’s decently expensive but you ignored/justified it because you loved that thing so much but then you realized it was super easy to make yourself so you did a major face palm?

*takes breath*

That’s totally me with granola. I mean, I’m not going to stop buying it, but I am definitely going to make it more. IT’S SO EASY. And I’m not sure what took me so long to just make it myself. This isn’t my first time making it, but I don’t make it that often. When I do, I’m all like…

Fall Spiced Granola

I love this granola because it’s warmth is overwhelming and the spices used will transport you to Fall, no matter what time of year. It contains my favorite spices, and it’s so versatile! I named it “Fall Spiced Granola” because the spices used are traditionally used for baking in the Fall season, but you can transform this granola into whatever you want. Add in some dried fruit, your favorite nuts, some superfood seeds, whatever you want.

I included some quinoa because I love the crunch of uncooked quinoa in granola; it just adds another dimension to the flavor and texture profile.

My personal favorite ways to eat granola are straight out of the bag like a savage, on top of smoothies, and with milk. I am a sucker for a big bowl of granola and milk.

This granola also makes a great gift in cute mason jars (as pictured above)! I would totally jar this up, tie some cute ribbon around the jar, and give it to friends and neighbors as a ‘just because’ gift.

hahahah i read the sentence about how you eat granola out of the bag, and i was still stuck on the quinoa bit, so i was like ‘omg she eats quinoa out of the bag raw…. that IS savage.’
hahahahah. then i re-read it and stopped judging you 😉 but hey – to each their own right?!

Can I just say, your photos are really great. Granola is a difficult thing to make look appealing because it’s sad and brown and dry. But this looks awesome.
I never buy granola anymore because it is so expensive when the box is mostly air! And it gives me an excuse to bake.

This looks bright and fallish and delicious and amazing; I totally understand what you mean by buying granola and making it. I know it’s so much cheaper to make it, but then I LOVE Blissful Eats granola, and I love Nicole; so I still like buying it.

And THIS. This should become part of the fall food rotation that’s going on over here. 😀
