6-Ingredient Guacamole

Finally, the first day of Spring! Today, I am headed down to the magic city, MIAMI! My parents and I are visiting my family down there just for the weekend. I haven’t seen them since September, so my excitement cannot be contained! I will forever call Miami my home. It’s the city I was born in, and half of my family all live there. Every time we head that way, I don’t feel like a visitor, but a resident. Miami will always have my heart!

Today I wanted to share my extremely easy and quick guacamole recipe. For some reason, I have been asked quite a few times recently about my guacamole recipe and why I don’t have it posted on here. I then asked myself the same question, so here we are! This recipe is sort of a shortcut for what I usually make if I have all of the ingredients, but it’s just as delicious!

6-Ingredient Guacamole

  • 2 Hass avocados, cubed
  • Juice from 1/2 lime
  • 1/4 cup salsa (I used Pace Garlic & Lime Salsa Verde; use whatever you have on hand!)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt
  • Pepper

  1. Add avocado to a mixing bowl and mash to your preferred consistency (I love chunky guac!)
  2. Add remainder of ingredients and stir with a fork.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy!

Oo I love the idea of using salsa instead of chopping up onions and tomatoes! Such a smart short cut. I love tortilla chips, but I rarely keep them in the house because they’re just one of those foods I will over eat every time. But going out to a Mexican restaurant I always love a little guac and chips to go with a nice margarita
