The day that I got my Spiralizer was one of the best days of my life.
Okay, not really. But I was seriously stoked. I had been wanting one for so long, and now looking back, I’m not really sure what the heck took me so long… but ya girl took the plunge, and I went noodle crazy.
If you’re wondering what a Spiralizer is, let me explain. A Spiralizer is a kitchen gadget that, using unique blades, spirals your vegetables into noodle form. It’s a great replacement for traditional pasta and sneaks in nutrients while you feel like you’re eating spaghetti! There was a time where I would only eat my vegetables if they were Spiralized… Seriously. Vegetables like zucchini and yellow squash tend to gross me out texture-wise. They get all mushy and soggy… yuck. But I inhale them when they’re made into noodles.
In completely random celebration of my love-affair with veggie noodles, I’m coming at you today with a round-up of totally and utterly delicious zucchini noodle recipes. Lezz do it.
